Job Karma - The update
I did not get any of the jobs I applied for.

However, on Friday I went to apply for a job. I went through a lot of tests, the job (when I called today) was filled by another applicant.

*gloom* */emote heart sinks*

However they had another position open! *crest, no longer fallen*

I said I would take it!!

Oh one little catch. It is from 4am to 11am M-F.

That would be no problem....

If I didn't live on top of a mountain, in the middle of the boondocks. So what do I do? My roommate has a bicycle that I can borrow... I will give that a shot I guess.

I am so scared. This is the only job that has come along...
Rent is due soon and I have to get some money rolling in. I guess I will walk everyday if I have to.

Anyway I have a follow up questionnaire tomorrow along with a piss test. 9:30 am will come mighty early.

3. How far away is your job?

I'd worry about commuting by bicycle at 4:00 A.M. I would think you'd need a very strong lighting system, both to see and be seen.

The only bad accident I ever had on a bike was when trying to ride after midnight with one of those "arm-band" lights -- it didn't work well enough, to put it mildly.

Well, on the bright side, we're reaching spring, so you won't have to worry about consistent winter 4:00 A.M. rides in driving rain or worse...

ON EDIT: Have you checked the bus schedules? Woodinville isn't all-that-much in the boonies anymore, and I seem to recall some Metro routes that run all night or at least start really early in the morning.
