1. It's really a great song
I can't deny it! I wouldn't play it for my 7 YO though, even though he knows what words are "not right to say" and doesn't say them. Perhaps the toned-down (but not as good) Gwyneth Paltrow version, "Forget You", from a recent episode of Glee?

3. I believe there's a "Forget You" version by Cee Lo too.
Problem is that kids will repeat things at the absolute worst time. It's a great little song though, enit? And it so gets to the adolescent heartbreak and revenge fantasy. Brilliant.

8. Were my parents bad for letting me listen to Prince when I was four?
Purple Rain didn't make me grow up to be a teen mom like some in the family thought it would.

14. No
as long as the kids know that those words are not to be used in - oh, school, or with the grandparents, or similar situations.

I LURVE that song, it's my go-to song and video for when I am extremely annoyed or pissed at a certain someone. I also love his "Crazy" song. Fantastic.
