I ran across a rest area today in Montana that had an interesting concept regarding pets and their need to take care of business. But first they had to lay down the law.



What's a poor doggy to do? Never fear, the good people at the Montana Department of Transportation came up with something for our furry friends.



And speaking of business, things have been going well for me lately. I've gone about a month now without a breakdown and I'm starting to make money. You may recall that I had some maintenance problems with the truck for the first month or so after I hit the road. I think what happened was that the people at the trucking company that owned it before me knew they were going to be trading the truck in soon so they let it go a little bit to save on maintenance costs. Everything seems to be in good working order now, knock on wood.

Well, I'm so glad the good people of Montana have their priorities in order, lol!

Doggy poop is more easily removed from gravel, too...

And that fire hydrant just cracks me up!

I'm glad you're finally making some money...Your theory about the former owners makes sense to me.

2. I'll be trucking and writing until my dying day

Mainly because I'll be too poor to retire after this business venture!

Seriously, I hope that my adventures out here have the side effect of added creativity. If I could trade this truck in on a desk and a computer, I'd do it in a heartbeat, but only because that would mean that I'd be writing for a living. To hell with the cube farms!
