There are also anecdotal stories of people eating too many carrots and having their skin turn orange. It happens with babies who like their baby food carrots a little too much. But it's usually just their noses and such.

It's temporary. Once the excess vitamin (or keratin, in the case of carrots) is out of the system, normal colored-skin again...
