Cardinals winless, Pujols slumping since Beck event
As a St. Louis Cardinals fan, I hate to see this. But as a guy who has watched pennant races longer than Albert Pujols has been alive, I know the last thing a team focused on winning needs is a distraction. This was a distraction at the worst possible time.

I will update the link below on a regular (with an eye towards daily) basis through then end of the season. If you are interested in these kinds of things, bookmark it and keep checking back.

1. I used to think LaRussa was cool because he is a vegetarian.
The more I have found out about him, the more I know I was wrong.

- Phillies fan, The Cards appear to be on importance anymore in the wildcard or pennant race. Sorry.
