1. You can't go wrong with Shiner anything.
Used to go to brewery with my Grandfather.

"Local" brewing has improved greatly everywhere -- so I believe
you about the Shiner beers, but those two were just nasty.

9. The 101 is a pretty good approximation of a Czech pils.
The only other one I've had is Bock.

I'm not particularly impressed with Shiner's output, but It will do if the only other option is Bud/Miller/Coors etc...
