I didn't know they were releasing "Chance" a juvenile grey seal someone found beached back in April. Plenty of most excellent sushi and some medication and Chance gained 20 pounds while in their care and was released today.

One of my jobs involves interviewing fishermen, and while I was waiting by the ramp at the Ponquogue bridge, this big crowd started to show up. And then a bunch of people in red shirts, and then the big truck with the seal in a box.

Chance skipped down to the water and when last seen was happily diving and thinking about where the cooler water might be.
