DO NOT, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, tell others you are starting to feel better.

I would swear on a stack of Bibles or Torah's or the Koran that the second you say you are feeling better,

you will, within 15 minutes, feel even worse than you did at what you thought was the height of your cold.

So,

word to the wise.

Keep yer trap shut!

Just sayin.......

:cough: :cough: :cough:

:sneeze: :sneeze:

Blech!

2. Place your hat on the bedpost
Drink Jack Daniels until you see two hats.
You'll feel MUCH better...

Until you wake up...

4. When feeling "a little better"
(from a "cold", "flu"...), I have a tendency to overdo it (physically/mentally). And this can catapult me significantly backwards in terms of getting better.

(Generally, I figure a week or two without any (felt) symptoms is necessary to get feeling confident about recovery. -- And it's easy to block, overlook symptoms.)

Rest really is important to recovery from illness. But it's hard to resist when things all around you scream out "Clean me!"; "Fix me!"; "Deal with me!". And it's important to build up strength, which requires being active.

It can be a tough call.
