OMG - I bet you folks can't guess what the official sport of Maryland is
It was on my snapple cap. I'll give it a bit til I laugh at all your bad responses and then tell you the answer NO FAIR GOOGLING IT (or using any other search engines). That's cheating and I hope maggots devour your brain while you sleep if you cheat!

Or more specifically, ring jousting. Christ Episcopal Church in Calvert County holds a ring jousting tournament every August. That be how I know.

The jousting scenes were filmed in Poolesville, Md. The rest of the film was made in Rockville, Md. One of Warren Beatty's first films as an actor.
