beware the iTunes email

if you get an email from iTunes that seems like a gift from someone else, or that thanks you for buying something that you didn't buy, check w/ the person who supposedly sent you the "gift". The file attached to the email is a ZIP file.

You could buy yourself a whole lot of trouble w/ this one....

Dunno if it affects XP, but it definitely does Win7.

2. Anything in my inbox from unknown senders is automatically deleted.

Especially with attached zip files. Of course I also don't have iTunes, nor do I want it.

3. well, I recognize both ITunes, and the name of ther person the "gift" was from

the only thing that seemed fishy to me was:

1) it came my email box and it was "to" my boss

2) the file attached was a ZIP file... normally when iTunes sends you a gift card, the link to redeem it is in the body of the email.
