1. And they just keep rollin' on ...Seen 'em about 6 times ( and Dave Alvin and The All-Nighters too)
Great band....And I think I've probably covered more of their songs over the years, than any other band with the exception of ,appropriately enough, The Rollin' Stones.

2. I don't know all that much about them,
and that's the one song I hear most by them. It's pretty fun.

The one band I cannot stand in that genre is The Beat Farmers. I know a lot of people like them but they annoy me.

Good to see you, abq. You seem to be my music bud. :hi:

3. I am your music bud--here'a a couple more good ones by The Blasters
although searching you tube, it's been hard to find well recorded versions of a lot of their best stuff. They did a couple of albums right around 1980 or so that are , in my not very humble opinion, masterpieces....One just titled The Blasters ( the two posted below are from that) and Non-Fiction . Their next one ; Hard Line , is a little more political( not overly, but somewhat) and damn near as good as the other two.

I enjoy turning other DUers on to music they may have never heard but might ( hopefully ) like, as well as being turned on to stuff I hadn't been aware of by other musically knowledgeable people here ( especially people who are more up on modern stuff than I am, which as I race headlong towards 59 years old....WHAT??????...is getting easier and easier to be).

and back atcha: :hi:
