Anyone just watch the Project Runway finale? **(POSSIBLE SPOILERS INSIDE!)**

What did you think? Did you watch the reunion show afterward? Jay was so harsh to Cerrie, his comment was just nasty. I don't understand why people can't take criticism without throwing back personal insults.

Anyway. Did you like the winner?

1. I liked the winner more than the third place person, but liked second place a bit more.

I've forgotten all their names, and I didn't see all the fashions, but the winning line was fabulous.

It should re-run again tonight, maybe right now!

Yes, it's on again...

:hi:

2. The winner is such a nice guy, too.
And the second place one was a little hard to bear sometimes. Not that that should have had anything to do with who won, but it's nice when the nice guy finishes first.

Knew the third place finisher wouldn't win, but liked many of the looks.

3. Got to see all the lines now in rerun. They are now chatting with the designers.
I loved some of the patterns and coats of number two, not sure the line looked cohesive, and some of the looks didn't look super cutting edge.

Number three, no surprise, all black and white except for two that were "almost black" and white. I loved the sequins dress and skirt.

But the "German military" inspired line that won had it all, great looks, great combinations of patterns, and splashes of color.

And it was cutting edge without being stoopid.

But his hair was stoopid!

:hi:

7. it wasn't a terribly exciting season; too much controlled
editing, but a very nice finale.

9. The beginning seasons were my fav
Because there fewer practises professionals.

So the creativity was more unpredictable.

In the last few seasons - these are people with serious careeers-- very very good - but
less surprising in some ways.

But that's what I LOVED about this finale.
Someone not expected to over take the lead
through the season did - and his collection was stunning.

Michael and Ninna know their jobs.

6. I adored both Seth Aaron's and Mila's collections --
They were both right up my alley fashion wise. :loveya: Now, I wish I were five inches taller and had a waist so I could actually wear those clothes! :D Emilio's clothes looked very much like stuff I have seen already back in the 80's -- I liked his work duirng the season much more that his final collection.

I do know that Mila seems to be stuck on b/w and geomtrics, but damn she does it incredibly well, much like Yuli and prints in a prior season.

8. yeah, Emilio sort of lost his way ---
I thought the last challenge dress he made (the circus challenge) was just gorgeous; he made nice clothes all throughout, but the colors he chose for his runway show were awful. He should have listened to Tim.

Some of Mila's clothes were GORGEOUS, though I *do not* like black/white and geometrics. Gives me a headache. But one of her mohair/leather pieces was beautiful.

I agree with the judges, though, that Seth A. really seemed to bring the most creativity to his collection. And he seems like such a nice, wacky person; I'm glad he won!

10. I was pleased that Seth Aaron won.,
I knew he was a shoo-in when Nina Garcia gushed over his collection. I don't think I've ever heard her dole out such praise.

I just wish that the runners-up would show a little more class. Emilio's "the king doesn't necessarily wear the crown" bullshit was tactless. For some reason he had himself convinced he was going to win (back-to-back challenge wins don't prove anything), and I think this came as a huge shock to his oversized ego. Seems that with each season the primadonna factor is getting worse, which is (for me) making it harder for me to watch and invest the time.

Mila -- meh.
