LOST Series Finale Pool - Give your predictions on how it all ends
Lost officially ends a month from this Thursday.

Let's get a pool going. Predict how it's all going to end and we'll see which one of us gets the closest. I recall someone here correctly guessed that the island is a cork meant to keep hell in check. Perhaps someone here will get the ending right as well.

MY Prediction: Jacob is the guardian and the MIB (fLocke) is the devil, as we already know. The next couple episodes will get the battle rolling, major charasters will die. I hope I'm wrong, but I think Hurley will die, sacrificing himself to save others. This causes Jack to step up and assume the role as Jacob's replacement. The very last scene will be a mirror of the season 5 finale where we first meet Jacob and MIB, instead this time it will be Jack and Locke, the only ones left on the island or alive. A modern ship will be seen in the distance, approaching the island.

3. I'm not going to predict how it will end...
but if Jack ends up running the island, I'm going to be pretty pissed.

Team Kate!

And I'm not so sure UnLocke is the devil. It seems too simplistic to have Jacob = good and Unlocke = evil. I'm not a big fan of Jacob, but Desmond Down the Well really pissed me off, so I'm no longer on Team Smokemonster.

Hurley sure as shit better not die, and I'm interested in just how "poisoned" Sayid is.

Meh.

My guess is that being Jacob's replacement is a sucker's game, and that the MIB/WTFlocke turns out to be an equally compelling alternative. I think in some ways the MIB is going to wind up being the protagonist of the show.

I think the real fight is not going to be Jacob vs. the MIB, but Widmore vs. virtually everyone else.

I think that redemption is the theme of the day, and that about 5 beloved Losties are going to meet the reaper, but not everyone in the main timeline.

I really could not predict whether the timelines are going to merge, or whether people are going to have to choose which timeline to continue in. I could see real advantages to both.

11. Hurley's break out this season scares me
I'm afraid they're setting him up to be the sacrificial lamb so to speak.

I really hope he lives, but they're really building up his new found confidence and power. He might be the one sympathetic death to bring out Jacob's candidate.
