Things I Learned From Watching The Shining...
Edited on Fri Apr-16-10 11:42 PM by BlooInBloo
1) If something really awful happened on the 2nd floor, stop riding your fucking big wheel around it all fucking day. Try the 3rd floor. Or better, the 7th.

2) If your significant other tells you he or she just dreamed about chopping you and your child up into little bits, you may wish to consider leaving, and putting in an order for a new significant other.

Only half way through the flick at the moment, so there may be other pearls of wisdom coming. Other wisdom nuggets welcome!

3) If you walk into a random hotel room and find a hot nekid chick who wants to fuck you, politely decline the offer. She might be dead, rotted, and want to kill you. I have no problem with kink, but that's just ridiculous.

5. I love this trailer
A guy I know who never saw the movie thought it was the real trailer. He got upset because it wasn't true to the book.

9. Bottom line:
If your spousal unit is getting twitchy, not a good idea to spend a winter isolated on a mountain top.

11. I'd like to offer one:
4) If you're fleeing your insane spouse and you stumble upon a guy in a bear/pig suit orally servicing another guy, back away slowly and tell no one about it.

17. An isolated hotel in the mountains . . .
with several incidents of violence in its past . . . an unstable hubby . . . no way to contact the outside world except an easily breakable ham radio . . . yeah, what could possibly go wrong?
