1. He has a kidney stone
But will be fine once he passes it. She was very relieved-as we all were.

...and I would never.

But you'd have to get past the wild "guard turkeys" first, they'll peck you man.

24. OMG I got chased by a wild turkey on the TX/OK border
he wouldn't get out of the road so I got out of the car and shouted at him - he ran at me like a friggin' bull, full speed - he looked OUTRAGED - he chased me around my car and made me get back in, then strutted back in front of my car and made me go around him, half in a ditch - what an asswipe bird

...They wear leather jackets with "Central Wisconsin Pilgrim Slayers" embrodered on the back.

Naw, I have been feeding them under a crab Apple tree. They are completely skittish. There's still apples on the tree and it's quite comical watching a 20 pound turkey trying to balance on a one inch branch and attempt to eat them.

But there is a killer calico cat in the house.

On edit: Probably a Texas turkey, an "Okie" turkey wouldn't bother.

20. I had one that passed in one night...thankfully.
It was agony for about 12 hours, down on all fours begging for a God I don't even believe in to help me, so I can't imagine what it's like to go on for days.

Fingers crossed it goes soon!

10. My Dear CaliforniaPeggy!
.
I'm glad that your husband is feeling much better. From my mom, I know
how excruciating those can be. The technology is much advanced since
her experience, so here's wishes and vibes and energy in your direction
that he continues to return to normal.
.
Well... maybe normal is not the nicest word I could use. :P
.
Don't let him feel more than moderately guilty for keeping those medical
personnel away from their true priority -- the Super Bowl.
.
They've almost certainly forgiven him already.
.
Or will... in a few months or so.
.

26. Kidney stones suck
Symptoms:

Colicky pain: "loin to groin". Often described as "the worst pain <...> ever experienced". This can also occur in the lowerback<4>

Kidney stones can be very painful, like someone stabbing you in the lower back.

I wish him a speedy recovery, Peggy!
