Your house is on fire. You are in a room where you keep your newly purchased painting (cost $1000) and your old childhood comic book collection(value $1000). Which do you save?

...the collection obviously has great sentimental value and one would feel its loss very deeply.

4. Yikes - a toughie, but...can the comics be replaced?

The painting may not be replaceable. But then, are you really attached to it as you are the comics?

7. Had to go with the comics

Though not sure how realistic it is to save them, since the comic collection must be a good 500 pounds or more...

If I have the time to lug back and forth saving boxes of comics, I think I should have a chance to put the painting on one of those boxes or something...
