Paula's picture is on the lid, only found a Walmart.

The pie has jamaican rum with southern pecans.

I have never heard of a pecan pie made with rum.

Well, it is Paula Deen pie.

1. I had to look up who she was. She's that cook who got the turkey tossed in her face! nt

2. I don't know but she cooks everything with a pound of butter.
How big was that turkey?

3. Can't remember. I saw it on some Thanksgiving video clip. She was handing out turkeys
at some charity thing. Someone tossed her one and it hit her face. It was this year. You can probably search and find it.

11. Check her out on youtube, I am sure a few of her cooking shows are on it.
It is fun to watch.

She has a southern accent and says y'all way to much.

She does ham it up on her show.

8. I don't like pecan pie and I have never drank rum.
The two don't seem to go together.

10. You live in TX and don't like pecan pie?
And they let you stay? :D

A well-made pecan pie is heavenly. A non-well-made pecan pie is just inedible.

And rum? Not a fan unless it's covered up in some fruity cocktail served to me in a glass with a paper umbrella in it, while I luxuriate on a beach.

12. I like picking pecans but not eating them.
I like beer and chicken fried steak so they let me stay.

13. Maybe it's because I left TX, but a pecan pie sounds really good now.

15. That is a pronunciation native to parts of Georgia.
I can't stand it, but apparently that's the way they say it. I think a pee can is what you use when your bathroom is broken.

19. It sounds like it'd be very good, if I still craved sweet foods.
Maybe I'll make an exception this time and have a small piece. :)
