My niece (and her high school band) are in the Macy's parade
Franklin Regional H.S. in Murrysville PA. My niece plays the big drum. Couldn't figure out which one she was, but I'm sure she is having a great time :-).

5. She's just a junior and they have worked for two years to
raise money for the trip. Yeah, it's a great memory for her.

6. The rest of her family will be here for dinner today
and bring the video, but it lasted a whole 30 seconds or so.

I wish they'd show more of that kinds of performances, rather than extended numbers by Boys Like Girls and all the rest. Congratulations to her and her band!

7. I can't wait to hear about the trip. It will be a long drive home
for them, but I'm sure they are psyched :-).

We watched specifically to see Franklin Reg. They looked terrific! We used to live in Murrysville a long time ago. :hi:

9. I'm from Monroeville originally
:hi: My brother recorded the whole parade and brought it up here so we got to relive the 30 seconds over again. They did a nice job.
