Is there a vaccine to protect against the vaccine threads?
I know there's "Hide Thread", but that would take hours.

3. Here's what you can do...
Get a good pair of scissors and some construction paper. Cut the construction paper into strips that are the exact width of the thread. Put a few drops of glue on the paper, and carefully place it over the offending thread. This would probably be quicker than using the "hide thread" function.

WARNING: Do not cut the strips too wide, or else you will cover up a portion of a thread that you may want to read.

As. I am in every thread I post in is soooo conductive to discussion. There's a reason why us scientist types get very PO 'ed in those threads

14. I understand
and it goes both ways...being called "anti-vax woos" and worse is just rude.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and also entitled to civility.

11. They haven't had peach pie in a long time!
They've only had appple until recently. Now they have apple, pumpkin, and pecan.

I'll go for the stout! I bought some Alaskan Smoked Porter today.

12. They're being seasonal
'Tis the season for apple, pumpkin, and pecan, all of which I love. Especially pecan.

Peach pie is more of a spring/summer deal. :D

I think the Smoked Porter would complement the pecan pie nicely. :toast:

16. They didn't have it last spring or summer
and they didn't have cherry pie last winter. They've always had it around Washington's BD -- I was considered eccentric for bringing one is. Nobody celebrates the Presidents individually, they'd say. Well, I grew up in Washington and it's just something I've always done. I might have to make my own from now on. Damn Costco let me down.

17. Those bastards!
I haven't actually looked, because I am trying to be good about sweets.

Mind you, I have failed miserably, but I have at least avoided Costco pies, lol.

One thing I have found - no two Costcos stock equally. I compare notes with a Seattle buddy of mine, and they carry things I can't get at ours, and vice-versa.

19. See my first reply above
I don't read the motherfuckers - I just get sick of HALF of the first 3 pages being cluttered up. Anyone with half a brain would - on EITHER side of the issue.

This is really more of a joke thread than anything - I have seen GD endure its fair share of hot-button spam in its day.
