But I have a cold, that makes me feel like I'm dying.

Runny nose, coughing that is a new chapter in agony with each cough, I hurt all over, and a fever of 101.

I've had it since Tuesday.

at least call your doctor. You could have a bacterial infection requiring antibiotics.

Well, you know the drill -- plenty of liquids (no booze), rest. Try yogurt with living culture. Replaces the intestinal fauna that the fever and liquids do a number on. Fewer mad dashes to the bathroom.

It's usually a chaser for Tequila, but it's got to be a good cold chaser. If you're home sick, heck, have a shot of Tequila first.

Sangrita:

1/4 cup Pureed Jalepeno

2-1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice

5 oz Fresh Orange Juice

46 oz Tomato Juice

3/4 Tablespoon salt-more or less to taste

3/4 Tablespoon white pepper-more or less to taste

Tabasco to taste

14. Get some Umcka

You can get it at your local health food store or Whole Foods/Sprouts/Wild Oats/Earth Fare. My local Kroger has it in their health food section. I had a cold last week, and it cut it short by days. Lessened the severity, too. It sounds more like what you have is the flu. They make a cold + flu formula, too.
