I'm tired, but I refuse to go to bed. Gonna go sit in my recliner and try not to sleep. I keep
jumping at every sound I hear. :(

Stupid people didn't even actually make it into the house last night but I still feel like a nervous wreck.

1. I had to call 911 last night, some guy was laying on the street, shot in the leg.
You do need to relax a little.

You are safe now.

It will take a little while to calm down after this.

2. Dang! Someone was shot out in front of your house? Yeah, I hope I can relax soon. It
sucks not getting a decent night's sleep.

3. Some gang kid was shot and made it to our street.
I found this out today.

Do you have a dog, or could you borrow one.

Do what you need to feel safe.

I was attack by two pit bull dogs about 10 years ago, didn't get hurt.

It took a month for me to calm down, I was jumpy for awhile.

4. No dogs allowed here. If I hear the door being opened again, I'll be hollering

"Pa, get the shotgun!" at the top of my lungs.

5. Damn, no dogs.
Dogs are great, even small yappy ones.

We have a fenced in yard with 5 dogs, medium to large.

If anybody gets passed the dogs I will meet them with my shotgun.

I grew up in the country and 4 years in the Army has me ready.

I don't think anybody would get passed the dogs, not all 5.

the actual dogs themselves. :P

We do have attack cats, but they are only useful if the intruder tries to bathe them before robbing us blind.

7. Might work.
Do you have baseball bat, sleep with it for awhile.

After my dog attack I carried my 22 auto around in my pocket when I walked around the neighborhood.

I needed to walked around the neighborhood, after about a month I didn't pack the gun anymore.

I just needed to feel safe.
