One thing that strikes me about SCOTS is that they're all great musicians; a fact that gets lost because they're also one of the world's best party bands.

I'm so glad Mary failed her audition when she tried out for those Hoboken hipsters the Wygals.

She's from Jersey but obviously she's a Southern Belle at heart.

La Terraza was a hole-in-the-wall bar where SCOTS played a lot of their early shows.

Its major redeeming quality was its terrace, overlooking scenic downtown Carrboro.
