Courtney Love arrested - again
Following her... um... erratic... appearance on Letterman.

NEW YORK (CNN) -- After baring herself on "The Late Show with David Letterman," singer Courtney Love was arrested early Thursday at a New York City nightclub for reckless endangerment after she tossed a microphone stand into the audience, striking one of the club's patrons in the head.

Love gave a surprise performance at Plaid, a lower Manhattan nightclub, for about 400 patrons Thursday morning. While on stage with her band, Love hurled a microphone stand into the audience and struck a 24-year-old man in the head. According to a nightclub spokeswoman, Love was unaware of what happened and continued to perform. The victim walked through the crowd to the security guards, who called for an ambulance. Love was arrested when she left the stage.

"It was pretty bloody,'" said the spokeswoman. "No one really knew while she was performing that this happened. She wasn't aware and did a few more songs. He worked his way through the crowd to the door and security called the ambulance."

but I'm still torn. She's a rock 'n roll goddess. It sucks that she has a daughter. Otherwise, she'd just be fun.

4. I agree
Her daughter is with her aunt, but it doesn't seem like her aunt did a good job raising Kurt. I think a judge should put her in rehab - the madness continues. Live Through This AND Celebrity Skin are masterpieces, and she has such a powerful voice.

11. Yeah, I pity that poor kid. All the money in the world...
...but her dad's a suicide and her mom's obviously on drugs. Hey, I guess it's tough being a 39-year-old rock star who wants to go out and party and get high and act like you're 25 again. But she's got a daughter now---a child who needs some parenting. As far as I know, no one forced Courtney to have the kid.

I respected, and had hopes for, Courtney far longer than it was fashionable to do so in my circles. Now? My feeling is simple: Get straight and get real or go away. Your kid deserves a decent life.

8. exactly
I was saying that to my bf last night.

It was actually really cute when Drew did it (but then, I think everything Drew does is cute). Dave loved it. But I don't think he even LOOKED at Courtney's ta-ta's. He averted his eyes. Her doing it was just plain creepy.

9. She really seemed desperate to me
All that "name-dropping" was just embarrassing, also showing her boobs just seemed like a cry for attention. I was embarrassed for her, I really liked Hole, but her new band (not to mention Courtney's voice) seemed tired and boring.

12. I say the judge should give her rehab
And then if she reverts, keep putting her in jail - right now, I worry about if she'll survive.

I agree about the talented part, and she had good looks - those good looks have been kind of trashed, though.
