4. start mild
don't start with a rubusto.. or you wont want to try any any more.
Don't smoke a cheap cigar... they are not really worth it... I would try spending around 4-6 dollars on a cigar... some of my favorites are Arturo Fuente 858... if you feel like spending a few more bucks (about $9) I would get an Ashton VSG... my favorite cigar so far.

Dont forget to get a good cutter and light it with a match.
Cheers.

5. well
whatever you smoke, be sure to do a lot of biting down and chewing on the unlit end, so that by the time you get halfway through smoking, that end looks like raw sewage you pulled out of your garbage disposal.

it's the only way to smoke a cigar! :D

6. Oliveros Gold series
If you are new to cigars these are the ones that I started with and still enjoy. The wrapper leaf is marinated in cognac and gives a sweet, mild smoke that goes great with after dinner drinks. Or as they describe it...

"The Oliveros Gold Series Cigar with Kelt Cognac has created a new level of smoking pleasure. The Gold Series combines two of life’s greatest pleasures, a world-class cigar with one of the world’s finest cognacs.

Oliveros Gold Series with Kelt Cognac is a masterful blend of 100% Cuban seed long filler Ligero Cubano, Seco Dominicano and Brazilian Mata Fina wrapped in an exquisite Connecticut Shade leaf. Oliveros unique process marries tobacco and cognac flavor perfectly. The fine cognac flavor complements, never overpowers the premium tobacco blend."

Enjoy! :)

Hampton Court... great, mild smoke.

Comments: Not dazzling but, a nice consistent everyday smoke. Ash formed nicely without uneven burn or runners. Flavor was typical for this type but, could have been a bit stronger. Would definitely recommend to a beginner or someone looking for a smoke for the golf course or everyday."
