Why was ANYONE giving Michael Jackson propofol?

I hope the doctor who was prescribing this has his/her license revoked and tossed into jail.

From what I read this isn't a drug I can go out on the streets and buy illegally, nor can I get a prescription from any old doctor and pick it up from my local Happy Harry's Pharmacy.

And just because someone insists on taking the drug doesn't mean the doctor should be prescribing it. If MJ had a need for something this seriously dangerous, the doctor should have been finding a way to get MJ off of the drug.

MJ did not have to die, this is pure negligence.

8. I have had several surgeries and have never once woke up feeling

refreshed - like I had a good night's sleep. Why use anesthesia for sleeping? There are plenty of sleep aids that actually help you sleep. Did he ever try Ambien or Lunesta?

From the most recent article I read the doctor tried valium and such - they didn't make MJ sleep so he gave him the propofol.

I agree the MD is totally negligent and did it for the money.

9. Doctor's fault, maybe, but what about his manager?

I don't follow the MJ stuff much but one thing I remember is he had just got scheduled for a tour of 50 shows when he had said he only wanted to tour 10 shows. Imagine if he desparately needed to sleep just to carry on but he couldn't.
