1. Lots of edible crap to be found in a McD's parking lot - plus some people feed um
spare fries and what not. I find um here in middle NC - which is way closer to the beach but still... I guess a meal is a meal these days - even for the birds..

5. If there's a body of water and crap to eat, gulls will show up.
They're flying rats.

2. If there is a McD's, there are sea gulls.
They love the french fries. They learn about them at the beach and during the off season they work their way inland in search of McD's fries. They soon learn that they can live anywhere there is a McD's.

3. oh yeah, there's always a flock of seagulls in this shopping center in PA
far from any major body of water, but there's a burger king, mcdonalds, arby's, and wal-mart in this shopping center. So there is a large flock of seagulls always hanging out.

4. Seagulls live all over the world
I've seen seagulls in Thule, Greenland which is deep inside the arctic circle and I've seen seagulls in Guam, which is very near the equator. I've also seen them all over the continental US. There doesn't seem to be a place on earth where they can't live.
