Went on a date last night....fun times, but we were driving for quite a bit and his dogs spend a lot of time in the van. Windows open, no dogs present. Here I am Almost 24 hours later. I am puffed up, wheezy, and actually puking from the dander. I never used to be this bad around dogs I have showered, removed from my room anything that came into contact with said van, taken claritin, albuterol, and ativan. I"m not looking for medical advice. I just want to bitch that I can't even go on a simple date if the guy has pets. This is fucking ridiculous.

I'll pet other people's, but I'm NEVER going to tie myself down with a critter again.

The only possible exception might be a fish tank (since they do make doohickeys that will feed them for a week or so). But otherwise, SacredCow shall have no critters!

10. Not to be unsympathetic but

I would think not dating people with pets would be a good idea since you obviously wouldn't be able to further the relationship anyway. Isn't it better to know that up front? :shrug:

But :hug:, too. Sorry that sucks for you - dogs are awesome and I'm sorry you don't get to have that fun in your life.
