1. I acquired a large box of motorcycle gear.
Boots, helmet, leathers, all in red, for some strange reason. Funny thing is, I don't own a motorcycle.

2. That would be strange and I am thinking
those that do dream interpretation could really go to town on that one.

3. You're probably right.
I had a 4-wheel ATV in my youth - maybe that has something to do with it.

It seemed like fun and I ended up buying blades and I have been doing it regularly for years.

6. I was at a mountain resort performing weddings
I had no idea what I was doing and the two families hated each other. So I started insulting them in obscure biblical like phrases and everyone noded and smiled.

7. Fishlike twins who were clarivoyant and always told the truth, no matter how cruel,
swam up to me and said "You look guilty!" and I replied with a grin, "That's because I AM guilty!" I seemed pleased at the fact.

I have no idea what I was guilty of.

10. I was at work
Edited on Fri Jul-10-09 12:00 PM by suninvited
only it wasnt my normal work, because it was in this huge round building with many, many rooms. There was a big computer/video room with probably 50 or more computers and a huge screen television and surround sound and I went in that room to see a lady from accounts receivable and she gave me a plant, then she hugged me. I was sitting there on a very comfy couch watching the big television and I realized I didnt have my daily utilization done so I said I had to go and everybody was mad at me for leaving, but I didn't want to get into trouble. I got out of that room but I couldnt find my way to my office and there were a lot of trick elevators so I had to be careful not to get on a trick one so I kept walking around the circular hallway and ended up in a big lunchroom/bar where a band was just getting ready to play. I was pretty mad no one had ever told me about the bar at work, then I noticed I had taken my shoes off in the media room and I was trying to find my way back there, which I did, but I couldnt find my shoes, and everybody from payroll was there and they were helping me look. Well, we found a LOT of shoes, people had been leaving shoes in that room apparently for years, but none of them were mine and I got to the point that I was just trying on strange shoes looking for anything that fit because I couldnt go to my office barefoot. The shoes were all too small for me.

Then I woke up.

I have been taking 5htp at night, and my dreams have been very vivid.

is it a drug or a suppliment?

it is used for a variety of reasons including depression and insomnia. One of the common side effects, however, is vivid dreams.

11. being at my high school re-union, and being unable to find the actual re-
union in the high school building or in fact, anyone I knew, except for a guy I saw at another class' re-union I just went to - he told me I had won some kind of tax preparation prize from him. In another room people were wrapping large presents (unclear who those were for) and a couple were kissing and ended up in a pool.

It was very strange.

13. Mine was very sad
It was right after my mom was diagnosed with cancer. She was undergoing chemotherapy. She had lost her hair and was feeling very bad. I had found these liquid vitamins I was going to start giving her, and I was going to put her on a healthy diet and help her beat the cancer. I remember feeling so hopeful. I knew she was sick, but I knew if she fought hard enough and I supported her enough, she would beat it. I woke up with such a hopeful feeling. Then I remember she's been gone 4 years now (she didn't beat the cancer). It hit me like a kick in the stomach all over again.

I'm sorry mine wasn't funny. :(

22. I was walking down the street with Stephen Colbert
towards my building, when I realized I'd forgotten my house keys. So I ran back to where I'd left them, bounded up the stairs, rummaged through my suitcase, and put them back on my key ring.

Then I woke up...

23. My brother and my dad told me I still had my '79 Trans Am in my grandparents' barn
Edited on Fri Jul-10-09 01:28 PM by av8rdave
I was SURE I had sold that car in the early 80s, but they insisted.

Suddenly, I was in my grandparents' dilapidated old barn (in reality, they passed away years ago and the property has long been sold). There sat my Trans Am, covered in dust and all the tires flat. I remember thinking, "I can't believe I forgot I still had this."

I opened the door and sat down in the driver's seat. I looked everything over and started making a mental list of all that needed to be done to make it roadworthy again. New tires, brakes, battery, fluids, etc., etc.

I opened the console between the seats and reached in. Feeling a rectangular object, I pulled it out and looked at it.

"THERE'S my Jethro Tull tape!" I exclaimed.

Then I woke up.

I've had that dream twice in the last two years.

Edited for spelling.

26. I was out in the middle of noplace...
With an infant daughter, and a baby carriage...

We were walking in the countryside, up on a high overpass with no railings visible. We were going to my car; it was night.

We got to my car, and I opened it. I took my baby and talking to her all the time, laid her in a little bed in the front seat. I was soothing her because she was a little nervous, even though she was just an infant. I got her settled down, and she turned onto her side, and started sucking her thumb. I was glad because I knew she was relaxing.

I told her I'd be right there after I put the buggy away; I opened the trunk and stowed it. Then I got in the back seat and prepared to go to sleep...

Then I woke up.

Weird, huh?

I don't usually remember them in such vivid detail.

:hi:
