Writing a really cool post taking several, to tens, of minutes, and then clicking the Post Message Button only to reach an error page or the like. Of course it's all gone...

I've gotten in the habit of doing a CTRL-C before posting anything I've really worked on (a rare occurrence here, I know, but we have the same problem with our e-mail system...

2. Sometimes if you back up a page, it's still there.

Maybe it depends on the browser you use, though. I sometimes start a post, remember I needed to look at a thread title and back out of the posting page, then can go forward again and my unfinished text is still there :)

4. If I type over three lines, I Highlight then copy, just to be sure.
