I got a Crackberry!!

A friend of mine knew how bad my phone was (we only use our cell phones due to money issues atm) and since a local store was having a sale on the Blackberry for $25, got it for me. I'll pay them back next month.

Now I understand why it's called Crackberry. Sheesh. As soon as I can afford the data plan ($24.99 per month) it's gonna be really bad!

1. It amazes me how addicted I am to mine.

I was always pretty scornful of people who were constantly fiddling around with their blackberry, but it really is totally addictive. I check mine all the time, mainly looking for messages from a special buddy of mine. That data plan is worth every penny.

Hehe, what model did you get? I got a Storm. I went from having a crappy plan, crappy phone, no texting, and like 200 minutes cell time which I probably used about 10 minutes a month of to unlimited data and this thing that can do it all. Now I am becoming one of "those" people that I used to ridicule! Have you got any apps yet? Weatherbug is kind of nifty if you like to keep track of weather. I have one for my sports teams and twitterberry. Good luck, just be sure you recharge or you will be jonesing for some handheld!

5. I got a Curve Titanium

It's not the newest model of course but it's cool, I can't bitch about it for $25.
I figured I'd wait to do a majority of app downloading until I got my data plan, but..I dunno, it's calling to me. I could always add some games and somesuch. Already gone to town with the MP3s and ringtones.
I'm not on twitter either but I have a feeling that's going to change really soon, lol!

Unlimited minutes on an individual line for $49.99/month
400 texts for an extra 4.99
Insurance for and extra 5.25 ( or something around $5)

Then if I want to add the data plan, hang on I have a flyer about it somewhere here...
it says 24.99 for unlimted web access; 34.99 a month for unlimited web access and 'domestic messages'; whatever that is. I think I have that covered in the text price above,however.

However,the above plan was supposedly only offered to "customers who have been with T-Mobile for more than 22 months with a reliable payment history" according to one website. :shrug:

I pay $125 a month for phone service and unlimited data plans for 2 phones with Sprint. I have a 20% discount through my company too.
