I was just bitten by a frekkin' mole.
Serious question. Does anybody know if they carry rabies?

3. Well, I already cut my finger off down to the first digit.
I did that immediately just in case.

8. Ouch!
I don't think moles carry rabies. A tetanus shot is probably in order, though, if the bite was deep. I got bitten by a baby rabbit one of my cats brough in the house. I just put some peroxide and a bandaid on it. Good as new in a couple of days. Rescued a mouse, too, one, and it bit me too. Ungrateful little shit. Never mind.

12. My cats, when they lived outside, often brought living critters
in the house, dropped them on the floor, then mewed loudly until I came out to see what they had delivered. It was a very distinctive call they made.

I always took the living critter back outside and released it. I'm quite certain the cats believed I took them out and ate them, thus proving my godhood.

One year, for some reason, we had a population explosion of legless lizards, also called glass snakes by many. For about two weeks, several came in a day, and I had to rescue them for release. Then there was the year of the slender salamanders.

Cats are wonderful animals. I'm just as happy they live indoors all the time here in Minnesota.

16. I'm glad ours don't do that.
The younger kitty is the one doing it. Her momma seems more than content in allowing us to fill her food dish daily.

10. They can I suppose. Go to a doc and get a tetanus shot at least.
You need to see a doc! Who gets bitten by a mole?

14. If you are like my husband, you will wait until it is almost
gangrene before you get to the doc. Look at it this way, you probably need a tetanus shot anyway. You will be good for 10 years!!
