The tv makes me do things (Planet Green more to a point)

..so I move into the SO's place and she has Direct TV. I havent had tv in about a year, but there is this one channel, Planet Green- the enviromentalist channel, and it is terrible. I have been into environmental issues. I want to get a modular PV (solar power system) in the next year or so, or at least starting it by then.

..cutting to the chase...

My rainwater collector as it currently stands (about 60% done). We are going to get a series of about 4 barrels in order to save all the water we use to water the plants (and the small garden which the SO has started to plan for on the side of the house)



A wooden rack will take the place of the wooden spool, but I cant decide if I want to paint the barrel to match the house. Then I'll add a spigot and overflow valve.

It's one of the few that I do watch. It's addictive. And you learn great things on it.
