Drag Me To Hell is a billion times better than Star Trek

Holy shit, what a ride. Forget forcing relevancy on characters that sucked back in the 60s, Drag Me To Hell is the movie to beat this year. It had it all: demonic possession, memorable characters, kitten sacrifices, great dialogue ("I'm goin' to get me some!")... Hell, it even had the Mac guy, whatever his name is. I might even buy a Mac now just based on how badass this movie was. Don't get your hopes up, geeks named 'TZ', I wouldn't touch an Iphone with a ten foot pole.

Where Star Trek is all about some boring vendetta between some bitch alien who gets his pants in bunch over Spock (yawn) and fucking with the space-time continuum (Back To The Future called and wants it's plot back), Drag Me To Hell deals with real life issues like Gypsy curses and evil spirits. Finally, a movie we can all fucking relate to. Sam Raimi brought his A game with this one and I couldn't be more pleased. Small homages to Evil Dead where strewn about but their placement were never overt. The characters Raimi created were perfect and multifaceted without being pompous or strained (take a note J.J.). The story is about as classic Raimi as Raimi gets which means it doesn't kiss anyone's ass with lame references no one gets. I can't believe how well they packaged Drag Me To Hell together and still managed to pull off a PG13 rating. There were kids crying in the movie theater it was so scary! Kudos!!!

I can't even really think of anything wrong with Drag Me To Hell. I might have liked to see Danny Elfman score it but I know Raimi and Danny are feuding (you two losers need to hug it out). I would have liked to seen some more lesbian action and/or nipples. Yeah, that's about it: more nipples and Elfman.

You guys need to go see this movie immediately.
