1. Too bad all those stars don't make it any less than totally unwatchable to me

The so called "science" in movies like this is so pathetic and aggravating that I can't watch this stuff. This movie is NOTORIOUSLY bad science in my field.
If these idiots had actually tried to make a movie from a book like "Hot Zone" they would have had a great movie.

2. Hot Zone is a great book

unfortunately a movie about a lethal disease riddled town makes a much better movie than a disease riddled monkey house that doesn't kill humans. I must've read Hot Zone a dozen times, I'd love to see it as a movie, but no producer will find it exciting enough. Unless liberties are taken and it wipes out DC.

3. I love it for its accuracy

You just know that Big Pharma could whip up a vaccine from scratch and produce a hundred gallons of it in a matter of hours.

5. There's suspension of disbelief

And then there is stupidity...it's one thing to do sci-fi where anything goes but movies like this actually try to stay realistic until it serves a purpose ..say you were watching a top gun type movie say.. And all of a sudden in order to fill a plot hole the airplane metamorphosized into an alien aircraft and destroyed the enemy... To those educated it's too silly to take seriously.y

6. this is supposed to be a suspenseful

Movie..but because it's so error filled it's just plain laughable to me.and not in an entertaining way...
