I've always been partial to the Brazilian flag.

7. I despise the states that put a seal on their flag.

In school I was always assigned a project for a state that had a bloody seal on it's flag. Why did teachers back then force us to draw the stupid flags? Oh yeah, we didn't have personal computers and Google.

2. I tend to like the flags of the Caribbean island nations.

Maybe it's because of my deep-seated fantasy of some day owning a small Caribbean island and creating my own flag to fly over it. I have hermit tendencies.

PULLMAN, Wash. -- Washington State University finished on top of Habitat for Humanity’s “Tackling Hurricane Relief” contest, which raised a total $164,293.62 to help rebuild homes in the southeastern United States affected by recent hurricanes.

The victory means the Space Needle roof will be adorned with crimson and gray paint, the WSU flag and logo, and the message “Go Cougars!” through the week of Apple Cup, the annual football match-up between the WSU Cougars and the University of Washington Huskies.
