Hearing, "Yankees Suck!" at Yankee Stadium
Edited on Tue May-05-09 06:52 PM by sniffa
reminds me that a good, "Yankees Suck" chant can be started anywhere at any time.

In 2003 I was at this awesome strip club in Montreal named, Teasers where you lay down on the stage with a loony, or a twony or some higher denomination in your mouth and the dancers come over and . One of my female friends got on the stage with a loony and .. and this group of guys at another portion of the stage we're losing their shit and hooting and hollering and acting like assholes. And then it happened - they started chanting, "Yankess Suck!" We quickly joined in and had the whole place began chanting over the loud, cheesy music.

2. I heard it the other night watching the Mets game...
we were playing the Nats or the Marlins at the time so there really was no reason for the chant other than people felt like stating the obvious...it gave me a good chuckle

3. The bigger we are,
the more anklebiters try to get to us. They fail, of course, but it's good they have something else to play with besides themselves...........

6. I could post a UMass streak night story that would
get this thread locked but...yeah it really can be started anywhere. I even won some free pizza from a friend that night when I insisted somebody would start chanting it but she didn't believe me.

When did you go there? ZooMass was one of the greatest times of my life and a great education.

8. I graduated high school in '98 and UMass Amherst in '02.

I was nervous about going there since I grew up in Boston and Somerville so I thought I was moving to the backwoods but I loved the area and the classes. I did good in high school but college was better suited to my learning style.

11. I lived in Southwest
It seemed odd to me when I was there how different the parts of campus were. Even the squirrels varied depending on the area of campus.

This thread made me curious so I looked and it seems they tried to ban streak night thanks to the year I attended. A friend who lived in Northeast acted like it was a big deal. Even after going I didn't think much of it. In Southwest pretty much any time the Red Sox played the Yankees people would streak, steal security desks, and start bon fires on the triangle. That's sort of how I knew a group of drunk people couldn't take their clothes off without somebody screaming "Yankees suck

My brother use to get jealous when I'd come home and tell him stories. He still insists he should've gone just for the concerts.

12. I remember whenever the first snowstorm struck
there was a campus riot that started in Northeast and ended in Southwest. I used to watch it out my window and think what fucking idiots they were.

Central was where it was at. They had the best parties and the best drugs.

9. I was at a Baltimore Orioles game once where they were playing the Red Sox.
At one point, somebody started a 'Yankees suck!' chant. Fans of both teams joined in. It was beautiful.
