Charlotte had her photo shoot today.
My 21 month old granddaughter.
She'll be in a Hasbro Toys magazine ad.
For something called the Clipo Hippo.

"Roll out the hippo and encourage your little one to build all sorts of colorful creations with interlocking, peg-covered CLIPO parts. Whether it’s standing still or being rolled around, the purple hippo is filled with fun! Open the hippo’s mouth to “feed” it blocks, or just have fun adding and removing them from the storage area. Kids can attach blocks to the hippo’s back, or to its wheels. Curiosity and delight will grow as toddlers design their own creations again and again. When playtime is over, all the pieces store inside the hippo!"

Whatever.
:eyes:

While my daughter and Charlotte were in the green room waiting for the shoot, there was an attractive young woman there.
"Hi. Is this Charlotte?"
"Yes, this is Charlotte."
"I'm her mom."
My daughter immediately understood that Stephanie was Charlotte's photo mom, but said it gave her a weird feeling to have someone else lay claim to her precious baby.
;-)

Anyway, our girl earned $214 this afternoon.
I asked my daughter if her cut was the standard 10% agent's fee.
"Naw, I'll let her keep it all the first time. We'll put it in her college fund."

As soon as I find out where the ad will be appearing I'll try and post it here.
:-)

11. Silly hats?
I only know it was for the clothing. Doesn't seem to have been a big hit, though, even with me advertising it.

10. Kinda funny story about Charlotte's hair.
It's never been cut.
My daughter keeps hers long, almost waist length.
She still carries a grudge because we kept it cut fairly short when she was a little kid.

So she decided that Charlotte's hair will be cut when Charlotte decides she wants it cut.

She's gone from brunette to what looks like streaked blonde now.
And it's curly at the ends.
Really does look cute.
Hopefully I'll have some current pix to post later.

12. Cool! and she got paid!
I bet it was fun for her too. Toys!

Years ago, my at the time employer wanted to use my kids in pics for a catalog, a nationwide chain, number 1 retailer at the time. Guess what? No pay...so they didn't get my kids.

I'll be looking for your granddaughter's pic in the ad. Keep us posted.
