Poll question: where would you rather live?
a rather dirty, ugly, crime filled, traffic congested, expensive living city that is very progressive and solidly Democratic.

or

a cleaner, less crowded, rather beautiful area full of freepers?

I honestly would rather live in the first. I just couldn't stand living with freepers no matter where it was. And such cities are usually more interesting places to live anyway, despite the faults at least they have culture and something to do.

7. both right now, almost
45 minutes from baltimore (solidly dem and full of crime and stuff)this area (harford county) is solidly repub and full of SUVs and the like. i go into b-more almost everyday. i would definitely rather wake up to a pleasant environment, visually. it is sort of rural here, and we see more animals than humans anyway.

8. I believe in an urban agenda.
Al Sharpton should get his request for an Urban agenda by the Democratic Party.. I grew up in a Progressive community.
As the bumper stickers there say, "I would rather be in Ann Arbor."
Democratic/progressive cities do not have to be in a state of decay. Some are quite dynamic.. Ann Arbor,East Lansing, Madison, Minneapolis, Boulder, Berkley..Some of many that come to mind.
Would we all not rather be in successful progressive communities and fight for our poorer neighbors.
As to living in Freeper communities. That is the story of my life.
It is the pitts. Weird people..You just do not expect to relate to anybody...In fact would rather not they are so selfish.Nasty.
In my present town we have religious fanatics, racists, skin heads. It wears you down. They are impossible to reason to.
When listening to them, you have your philosophy reinforced. Reason, they think all our problems are the same, just weird *** conclusions..
Example, they think the liberals in the government are the cause of outsourcing our jobs..The liberals want to give away our jobs out of guilt to the third world.. It does not matter that liberals have not run the government since LBJ...They think the intrenched bureaurcats run things..Carry overs from all the Democrats. I tell you, sit back and listen to Freepers and keep silent..It is educational...
