Ever argue with someone about a really popular actress you think sucked?

My ex-girlfriend was a big fan of Shirley Temple movies. (BLECH!)

I said that Shirley Temple was good at dancing, but she was a shitty actress and couldn't sing worth a damn.

I always thought that Shirley Temple was a genius,
not just for her dancing ability,but her ability to
memorize so many lines,and she had an uncanny ability
to make so many different facial expressions,for such
a young girl.

I can't recall a young actress that has been able
to compare since.

I've never had the argument, but I've personally never seen the appeal of Angelina Jolie as an actress... :shrug:
