Haven't been here too much past few days...

Uncle has been sick a few months. Horrible complications from cancer surgery.

I was in hospice with him, alone this morning, no one else had arrived yet. I could not get to his hands, so I massaged his bare chest and told him I loved him. Hospice nurse said he could hear but not respond. 2 minutes later his breathing slowed, and he died.

Today, Feb 6, is also the anniversary of my Dad's death.

So that's where I have been.

I probably won't respond...I'm just sitting here drinking and smoking...I just wanted to post this in case any of you fuckers were celebrating because you thought I left DU.
