Dreams that should've made me a vegetarian. DISTURBING IMAGES WARNING.
Actually, I've sworn off meat four times since I had these dreams about twelve years ago.

1. There were giant vats of hot oil, over which were suspended huge chicken roosts - hundreds of live chickens, sitting side by side, hanging over the vats. The roosts were slowly lowered into the hot oil.

2. People at a restaurant were dining al fresco. On each table was a small hibachi, and on a perch above the hibachi were doves. The people were petting and playing with some doves, while others roasted on the hibachi.

3. A giant chicken with its beak chopped off and bloody was chasing me.

Yeah. I should definitely be a vegetarian.

1. Vegetarianism is a healthy life style.
You could still eat French fries though. The dove one bothers me most. Here is a dream interpretation link:

However, with your sensitivity to animals, you may be right, perhaps you ought to go vegetarian.

2. Yes, the doves bothered me the most, too.
Strange that eating flesh should be such a hard habit to break.

3. I had to think about this.
I suppose there could be numerous reasons. If you ate a lot of meat as a child for instance, it is habit and comforting. Maybe because it is such a ready form of protein. It is human nature to be omnivorous, however, we don’t have to be. You could try to conjure up those dreams when you are tempted to eat meat. When I see a pork roast, I see the pig. I can’t even look at the live crab tanks at the grocery store.
