Can you out-do my lame-ness?
I have spent most of this week slogging around my house, looking through job listings, putting on my newly-acquired "work" clothes and walking around in them, admiring how nice I look in the "work" clothes that I have no work to do in, painting my nails, listening to old Weezer songs, and managing to not only NOT find a job, but to NOT clean my house or get things organized, either.

I am so unbelievably useless right now.

2. That would require more ambition than I presently have.
I don't have a picture-taker on premises, don't know how my camera timer works, don't know where our tripod is...

4. *snort!*
It reminds me of a friend. I could also be reminded of her if I got off my ass and called her, but... meh...

7. Let;s see.
I leave the house only to pick up and drop off my kid at school. We walked all last week, but this week it's too cold and I'm too lazy. I've scoured monster and craigslist, updated my resume...ate...
Scanned a few pictures in.
Ate...
Got my workout shoes together but then got distracted by facebook bowling.
Ate...

18. I saw no color-coding.
Therefore, it is not a full-blown addiction.
Go color code some shit and check back in.

19. maybe.
I ordered 6 long sleeve tshirts from old navy online, 3 black and 3 grey (i know, color, wooo) and i was so happy they got here, i just put them in the wash with some woolite so i can wear one tomorrow. I also went up and made room in the long sleeve tshirt section of my closet, my entire closet is organized by color, needless to say the black section is gigantic. It's a party a minute round here.

I also had to go to my daughter's school today, she shadowed at the high school and i went and talked to her adviser about her freshman classes and the IB program, later on i might clean the bathroom.

20. I had to go grocery shopping
Edited on Wed Jan-14-09 03:23 PM by Tangerine LaBamba
yesterday and today. Things I wanted weren't at one store, so it required two trips.

It's cold out there - twenty-eight degrees, which is nice, but cold. Cold for this area - right across the Potomac from DC.

I bought everything I'd need for at least the next two weeks, including ice cream and 12 pounds of onions.

8 pounds of baby back ribs. Six pounds of shrimp.

Get the picture.

Now I am contemplating a long hot shower and jumping into sweats, falling into my big leather recliner (which is more like a bed, really) with a book and the remote control.

That's my plan for the next week. Not setting foot out my front door.

I have a friend coming by for drinks at 6. That'll be fun. After that, I seriously doubt that I'll get dressed at all. That's what big comfy terrycloth robes and sweats are for. Right?

It's supposed to be 11 degrees here tonight. Very rare weather. Nice.
