March 3, 2004 -- Michael Jackson is holed up in an Aspen hideaway and being treated for "a longtime addiction to alcohol and painkillers" by a controversial Central American herbalist, a bombshell new report says.

Next week's US Weekly claims that since Feb. 10, Wacko Jacko has lived with his two kids in a posh nine-bedroom, $125,000-a-month villa, as a Honduras healer named Alfredo Bowman attempts to detoxify him.

"He was brought in to cure the symptoms of Jackson's pain, so he wouldn't need painkillers anymore," a source told the mag.

Another US Weekly source described as close to Jacko, added: "Michael felt better. But it will take a lot more for him to fully recover."
