8. You'd pick Friedberg and Seltzer over Uwe Boll?
At least those two are TRYING to do cheap, bad movies.

9. Yes, but they're responsible for turning the spoof genre to shit.
The spoof genre used to be great with movies like Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs and Airplane. Now it's all this Date/Epic/Disaster/whatever Movie bullshit. They should be tarred, feathered, and kicked out of Hollywood for that.

11. As opposed to Boll, who helped kill of the whole game-to-movie genre...
and will probably do the same to any other genre he touches.

15. The game-to-movie genre was crap to begin with.
You can take something that's crap and make it crappier (which is what both Boll and those other guys specialize in) but it's harder to take something that's crap and make it good.

18. Sure there was plenty of crap there
but those were all cases where they tried to take a popular game title and make a movie out of it... ignoring the fact that most of those early Nintendo games DIDN'T HAVE A GODDAMNED PLOT. Super Mario Brothers, Mortal Kombat and Double Dragon being the best examples I can think of.

However, games like Alone in the Dark and Dungeon Siege actually had at least something that could possibly be used as a screenplay. I've never played BloodRayne so I don't know if that one had any kind of decent plot... but if it did, he must have butchered it for that movie just like the others.

Is considering forcing suspects to watch these films in lieu of waterboarding. Amnesty International has been asked to investigate.

20. I didn't
People know it's garbage, very stupid stupid garbage and they should be going into the theatre with that expectation.

Indiana Jones, and the Love Guru on the other hand have some big stars and known Directors, but were just as bad as or even worse than the Disater/Epic movie series.

Hence my picks. :)
