Dog Lovers! Top ten peeves that dogs have against humans!
'1'
Blaming your farts on me.....
not funny... not funny at all !!!

'2'
Yelling at me for barking.
I'M A FRIGGIN' DOG

'3'
Taking me for a walk, then
not letting me check stuff out.
Exactly whose walk is this anyway?

'4'
Any trick that involves balancing
food on my nose. Stop it!

'5'
Any haircut that involves bows or ribbons.
Now you know why we chew your stuff
up when you're not home.

'6'
The sleight of hand, fake fetch throw.
You fooled a dog! Whoooo Hoooooooo what
a proud moment for the top of the food chain.

'7'
Taking me to the vet for "the big snip",
then acting surprised when I freak
out every time we go back!

'8'
Getting upset when I sniff the crotches of your guests.
Sorry, but I haven't quite mastered that handshake thing yet.

'9'
Dog sweaters. Hello ???
Haven't you noticed the fur?

'10'
How you act disgusted when I lick myself.
Look, we both know the truth. You're just jealous.

4. Glad you liked it! What kind of pup did you adopt?
Mines a (pain in the ass) terrier. Don't know what I'd do without him.
:)

5. Shelter adopted Wheaten Terrier! I had no idea what type she was,
Edited on Tue Jan-06-09 10:55 AM by blondeatlast
I just fell in love with her and she's a delightful pain in the butt as well.

I've heard from our trainer that she likely is a full breed which surprises me but I Googled the breed and she probably is but does not meet the breed standard (her butt curves so her back isn't straight).

No matter--she's just a bundle of ultra-soft, exuberant, wiggly joy! Here's her pic from another DU thread:

15. My beagle did that a few years ago.
I didn't notice until I picked her up to put her back in my truck. I got poop all over both of my hands. It was so much fun trying to rinse the poop off of her in the middle of a truck stop. She got so pissed. When I finally got her cleaned up and back in the truck she went and rolled all over the bunk. My truck smelled like wet dog and horse crap for days.

9. OMG! #7 is sooooo true! They KNOW a trip to the vet!
My pooch rides with me, everywhere. It's just one of those bonding kinda things with us, ya know?

But, I tell you what. If it is a trip to the vet he knows . I don't know how, but he does. The closer we are to getting there, and with every corner I turn, he whimpers and whines more and more. He knows! Whatever happens, he's not going to like it!

LOL! Lucky little shit.

12. Mine *loves* to go to the vet!
Seriously. She's nuts. They do pet her and give her treats there, but to me that hardly makes up for the indignities they put her through.
