OMG, I got Vick's Vaporub in my eye.

1. I hear spiders are attracted to Vaporub...
Actually, I made that up, just wanted to see how well you could read with one eye.

2. Why'd you do a thing like that?
There are better ways to look for a new thrill, y'know.

10. I wanted to "see" what it felt like.
:P

Actually, it was an accident. I had a sinus headache and applied the Vick's under my nose and on my forehead. Next thing you know, my eye itched. I'm only now beginning to recover...slightly. :wow:

21. It surely is!
Tiger Balm on the "sensitive parts" is every bit as painful as habanero pepper juice.

If it didn't work so damn well for it's intended purpose, I'd never touch the stuff again after that. :scared:

6. Getting hot-chili residue in my eye a couple months ago was fucking awful.
Now I have at least a vague idea of what it's like to be pepper-sprayed... :-(

14. I once grew some great tasting cayenne peppers in one of my gardens.
They were nice and red from vine ripening in the sun. I was so glad they were finally ready to eat. So I picked them (bare handed) and put them on the edge of the deck while I wandered happily around the garden to get some other veggies for dinner.

In a few minutes, a gnat flew in my eye.

I had always thought I could not open my eyes under water in a friend's swimming pool with its gentle ripples of water. She laughed at me for that for years, actually.

That day, I learned I can hold my eye open under the hose pipe and cry and scream like a baby all at the same time.

15. With me, that's a 50/50 "maybe" type thing.
I've been known to do something a second time just to make sure I had the right offending element. :P

18. That's like the time my sister-in-law's cat fell into our koi pond.
I said to CMW, "Well, he'll probably never try _that_ again." I was wrong. x(

23. The cats are all scared to death of our fish.
The biggest koi is about 20 inches long and the smallest is probably 16 inches long. Usually, the cats just watch from a safe distance. Here's our cat, The Wiley and Excellent Boy Cat Named Ginger, watching Bob. :hi:
