Why is the 5 y.o. boy obsessed with Sonic the Hedgehog?
Edited on Sat Dec-06-08 01:26 PM by Taverner
He has all three games available for Xbox

We spent last weekend downloading engines with all of the original Sega games on his PC

He watches the SonicX show every day, even if he saw it before. He doesn't watch ANY show over if he's seen it.

What the heck is it about the Hedgehogs, Foxes and Echidnas?

Does this mean my kid is going to be a furry?

3. I noticed Sonic being a common bond between my 5 y o and GenY'ers
My boy was visiting family, and my niece in law had some college buddies over. They talked to him all night about Sonic, and the characters...

All I can offer is one PacMan and another Super Mario

7. Sonic was a big deal back in the day.
And I guess he is again, just like the Ninja Turtles. I get to relive my childhood! :D

5. Oh it is - Sonic is actually kinda fun
Shhh don't tell anyone I said that!

But yeah, its harmless - I was just wondering what the obsessive fascination was.

He never got this excited about the FIFA Soccer game or PGR!

6. "You have been taught that there is something wrong with you and that you are imperfect..."
"...but there isn't and you're not."

I LOVE that quote!

Is it yours?

8. 18 years ago it was ALL ABOUT Sonic.
And Mario & Luigi, of course. I liked Sonic but the guys wouldn't let me play in peace. I taught them to play the theme on their Casio and we compared it to Mozart. They went for it and Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.
