1. Gotta go with the physical pain on this one.
Can't do Winger, Slaughter, Europe or Poison. I just can't.

4. For the purpose of this poll, "hours"...
...because while the length of a Winger CD can SEEM like days, it is more accurately expressed in hours or increments thereof.

:toast:

3. I even liked some of the cheesy hair bands back in the day.
But "Seventeen" was beyond revolting.

5. You have summed up my viewpoint beautifully.
I loved ALL kinds of cheesy MTV bands, but the visual of this slimy wanker licking his lips over a 17 year old girl in the video can only leave my brain if it's surgically removed by the skilled hands of a surgeon.

While it may not be "the single most disgusting song in rock music," it belongs in the top ten.

7. But it is amazing how many statutory rape songs there are in the
history of rock music. I never noticed when I was a teenager, but now as the father of a teenage girl, it is much more jarring to hear some twenty- or thirty-something (or, heaven forbid, some sixty-something) rock wanker leering over the sexual qualities of some minor girl. This goes way back to the fifties. It's very unsettling.

8. I used to suffer from searing abdominal cramps.
Oh, the pain seemed unbearable. But gradually, it would subside.

I've never heard Winger before, so I pulled them up on youtube. I just listened to 'Seventeen,' and I would have preferred enduring abdominal pain.

That music is really awful.
