3. I've been in love with Jennifer Connelly since "Labyrinth"
Edited on Mon Nov-24-08 06:20 PM by peruban
I'll watch anything with her in it. She gives me the tingles like Erin Gray used to in Buck Rogers.

And she seriously earned my respect for her acting in "Requiem or a Dream".

Kind of gives away what my preferred type is.

7. Couldn't agree more
She's always been impressive, and as you say, I've been :loveya: since Labyrinth, but Requiem for a Dream really put her over the edge as an incredible actress.

I liked Dark City a lot too.

16. Ah, Erin Gray
I had a huge crush on her AND on Colonel Wilma Deering. She was a lot different from other sci-fi TV babes popular at the time, who were mostly damsels in distress.

6. I want to see Phenomena
I'm a big fan of the director's previous supernatural thriller, Susperia. I think they originally released Phenomena in a severely edited form and it was a critical and commercial flop, but now they've restored it and it's been reassessed as a near-classic.

24. It was the first time I ever liked DiCaprio's performance
He really stunk the joint up with "The Aviator".

I'd really like to see a remake of Howard Hughes'life with someone who's believable.

15. She's my one celebrity crush.
It helps that she can actually act, too. I've liked her in everything I've seen her in (which doesn't include Blood Diamond yet lol). She was great in House of Sand and Fog.

17. Hi, Forkboy
She's one of my biggest crushes, too. Is the movie House of Sand and Fog also very good?

21. It's an excellent, but depressing, movie.
Ben Kingsley is also in it, and he's always good. But seriously, it's not a feel good movie, so make sure you're in the mood for something like that before watching it. I think it's worth watching, just don't go into it expecting a bunch of chuckles. :)
