3. It's playing Perry Como's "Holiday Favorites." She loves Perry Como.
You know, that kitchen looks almost exactly like our kitchen when I was a kid. Same metal cabinets, same cabinet pulls, same linoleum floor, same formica countertop with metal banding. We even had that mixer, and those same bowls.

And my Mom always wore a Christmas corsage, just like that.

6. Our kitchen had a floor like that except it was dark blue. We also had
the metal cabinets and a sink with a built in drainboard.

14. Yup -- I forgot about the built-in drainboard
I also hadn't noticed the copper jello molds on the wall. One of my aunts had that look going. We had a clock in the shape of a teapot instead. And there were roosters somewhere, as I recall....
